Still at the same location just a different name!
Paula helped my two boys and improved their wellbeing and behaviour. Her patience with dogs and humans is fantastic and puts everyone at ease my vet actually commented on Paula's knowledge on detailed reports as ever so helpful.
Paula is so patient with my extremely restless boy. He is so much better after his massages. He loves the attention he gets from Paula and maybe one day he will totally relax when she works her magic on him. Would highly recommend Paula at Caledonian Canine Massage.
Paula Dryburgh from 'Caledonian Massage' luckily lives locally and provides a superb massage treatment for Vinnie. She is quick to find any niggles he may be experiencing helping him stay fit and conditioned for not only the rigours of Agility, but precision movement for Breed showing and Rally. Canine massage is invaluable to keep Vinnie at the top of his game.
After trying various different physios and a chiropractor, I can honestly say that Ishbel has worked wonders for me for various issues over the last few years. I love that she has different skills and is therefore able to adapt the treatment to what she knows will make the biggest difference, whether that is massage, acupuncture or myofascial release. She has a great balance of being professional yet personable, and her results speak for themselves - I 100% recommend her.
When I had issues with my achilles tendon Ishbel was able to quickly diagnose the issue and help me with the pain quickly and I was amazed to be back playing football within two weeks, supported with good rehab advice. I felt that she was very skilled and practical in her treatment, as well as really honest, I appreciated when she told me that she didn’t feel I required more treatments, in my experience many others would keep booking appointments regardless to “cash in”.
I have visited Ishbel sporadically since 2017 and can't recommend her highly enough. She has helped with foot pain, shoulder pain and tension with her astounding knowledge of physiotherapy and acupuncture. Most recently I have had a couple of sessions of Myofascial Release which has helped me on a whole-body and emotional level. She has the skill to read your body and just know where to go next to release both physical and emotional tension. I think she's magic and I'm already looking forward to my next session! Thanks Ishbel.
Like many people, I have been working from home at the dining table. After a couple of months I had severe back pain, neck and shoulder pain and discomfort in my hands. Paula who completed a thorough work station assessment in my home, provided me with full details of how to set up and recommended appropriate seating and desk measurements. I am now comfortable and my pain has reduced. I would highly recommend Paula, she has a professional, friendly approach to helping you live pain free.
I have an Indian Head Massage with Paula, and I cannot wait for the next one. I suffer from Tension Headaches, Anxiety, Poor Sleep and Fibromyalgia and honestly, I have never felt so relaxed and free from tension and stress.
In a nutshell I would highly recommend trying the treatments at Caledonian Holistic Therapies, you won’t be disappointed!
Ruby is not an easy dog to work on due to her anxiety and over arousal! But after just three sessions the improvement in Ruby's overall body tension is brilliant, she now has skin that moves when I stroke her! I didn't realise how rigid she was before.
I noticed Daisy wasn't managing a full body shake and was giving a little Yelp when moving her head. After a trip to the vet and nothing serious and pain relief for a few days. Amazingly Paula managed to fix her with a few massages. There was a huge improvement after the first session, and Daisy has gone form a dog who was too stiff and sore to move much to feeling good enough for piggy rolls! Fantastic result for Daisy who is a whippet and although she is 12 can still be a bit speedy. Great to have Paula there when we need her.
I noticed my dog Baxter was twitching along his back when brushing. Paula discovered that he was very tight. After a massage he was no longer twitching. Baxter likes to explore when out and about jumping and sometimes climbing fences which leads to strains. Regular massages have helped him feel so much better.
Jasmine, my Romanian rescue, seemed a bit hunched up and just wasn't herself. Paula discovered some muscle strain during massage. What a difference after a couple of massages she was back to her usual bouncy happy self.
